Sometimes it starts with a headache but usually I am sleeping and I wake up because I am cranky and within seconds I have to run to the bathroom. Has anyone heard of this or experienced it?

you could have ibs or colitis or crones also an infection in the colon ,you can check all of these at www.webmd.com it will tell of the systoms for all .all of these can be very bad if left untreated if you check the website and feel you have 1 or more of the systoms mentioned above please see a doctor asap. i have crones and was mis-diagnosed sevral times before they caught it, it almost cost me my life.

is it around your period or your ovulation. do u happen to eat something in common.
i think you should start tracking dates when this happens and note what you ate and drank and where are you in your cycle. after a couple months see your doc or GI
