It's not a good practice and may upset it's stomach but I don't think it'll do any permanent damage.

It's not poisonous or anything (unless it was chocolate!- Chocolate is toxic to dogs!! Never give a dog chocolate!!!) but if not chocolate, just be ready to take the pug out to go # 2 when it is ready!!! It will probably have to go after not too long!! p.s. I don't dare if that guy down there gave his cat chocolate milk! Chocolate IS poisin to dogs!! Just because cats and people can digest chocolate, doesn't mean dogs can. I am a veterinary assistant. I think I kinda know.

It is not going to kill him but it is not good for him either. Keep him in a room with no carpets just in case his little digestive systems gets upset. He might get the runs or vomit or may not get anything. You probably already know that high end dog food (dry) is the best for your pets health. Manage the dogs weight with the advice of your vet. Just like people a heavy dog can have health problems, especially the smaller breeds..

You'll need to brush his teeth or else the sugar will cause his teeth to decay (like in humans). You are supposed to bursh your dogs teeth at least 3 times per week anyways.

His tummy might be a little upset and he may have some loose stools, but other than that, he should be okay.

Dogs eat their own crap (and that of other dogs, too), so I think frosting would be a step up. Actually, dogs are omnivores, like people, meaning they can eat just about anything, including chocolate. Dogs eat out of trash cans everyday. Do people really think that they never get hold of chocolate? While giving your dog a five pound block of baker's chocolate may kill it, the occasional chocolate cake or candy bar won't have any effect on them at all. My cat drank the chocolate milk from my ice cream bowl (several ounces of milk poured over chocolate ice cream) every day for fourteen years, and it never hurt her. If it won't kill you, it won't kill them.

If your dog ate it then it probably won't hurt him. If he has diarrhoea soon you'll know why. But as a rule please don't give your pug any human food. Creates bad eating habits and leads to over weight pets.

If it was chocolate cake, or frosting, then I would say not to let it happen again. Because chocolate is poisonous for animals. Even if it wasn't chocolate frosting, I still wouldn't let my dog eat it. Human food is not for dogs. Hence the name "human" food. I wouldn't worry about it this time, but try not to let your dog eat it again.

Animals shouldn't have ANY people food. It is not good for thier digestive system or thier kidneys. Well, one time I fed my Daschund a ravioli, but he wanted more and more until he got deathly sick. He got better though.
