I need a break!?

I asked a girl out last year and it was a No but my friends says that the girl told her that her parents don't agree with her going out with me.
She also told me she DOES like me more than a friend.
But her parents have never said anything but GOOD things about me so far.
What is their problem?
Are they just paranoid that I will break her heart, when I was the one that asked her out.

Her parents are just trying to protect their daughter. You don't mention her age, so perhaps they feel she is too young for a relationship with you.
