The end is only the beginning.
Some studies describes the form of the universe "similar" to a donut. There's no such thing as an edge, the border is continuous. The concept is very complicated and involves more dimensions than the regular 4 (wide,high, deep and time).

The universe is roughly 14 billion years old. That is, we here on earth can see 14 billion light years in every direction. That makes it seem as if we're smack in the middle of the universe.

If you were on the edge... you'd see the same thing. 14 billion light years in every direction. That's what science claims is the best available evidence. Pretty freaky.

Fred Hoyle, the guy who developed the big bang theory said we have an expanding universe and there is an unknown force that is generating this energy.
