I've been looking on the net, and I can't seem to find any sites that offer a sent-by-mail catalog that sells body jewelry. I just got an industrial and it's been pretty much impossible to find many places that sell barbells and other body jewelry. I've found plenty of online catalogs, but I don't want to pay all that shipping and handling money, etc.

From personal experience I would say do NOT buy from a catalog or online for jewelry unless you have had personal success with the source. You can't check the quality of those as you can from a shop. I have an industrial bar too and ran into the same problem of the bars not being long enough. So I went back to my piercer and baught two 2" bars from there for either $10 or $20. I was assured the quality and I knew I could go back to them if I had a problem with it. The shop that did your industrial (I hope you went to a parlor not the mall) should have other lengths in stock. And wait about two or three months past getting it done at the earliest to try and change it, the angle can be hard to get right away and before then the holes tighten up a lot faster. I still have troubles some times if I try to put my bar in too fast and I'll miss the hole all together. So let it heal some more and ask your piercer about buying more jewelry. They might even be able to order some for you since they only buy the best.
