I have a panasonic nv-gs27 fairly new and ive got a 3 year old computer but when I connect my camcorder to the computer t doesnt say anything about it not even do you want to install it, but once i put it in and it said to install but wouldnt install because it said i need a CD but it didnt come with a CD what do i do? Oh and my computer is a HP pavilion ze4200 Ty :)

Your computer has to have the driver so it will recognize your panasonic camera,Im not sure where you can get that driver from.

most of the new user to video editing confuse.....
the manufacturer only provided usb wire. and they dont provide
fire wire. usb wire is capable to handle most likely only the picture.(not the movie).......but usb2 maybe..... the upgrade and more faster usb might can handle but not as good as fire wire.

fire wire need one more thing...the fire wire card. so the software is most likely for the usb detection not the ....

where to get the software...panasonic.com
