I was in Indiana last month and just at the airport and seems everywhere people are a lot friendlier than anywhere I've been before. Kokomo In. motel clerk, resturants ect...I attended my best friends funeral and as sad as I was seems people just made me feel so much better. Is it me or are they a lot more friendlier there, even in Russiaville In. seems the people are just less stressed or something . Does anyone else feel that way about Indiana or is it me. Please give me some feedback.

Lived in many states. Indiana probably has to be the most friendly state.

I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana for five years and loved every bit of it! The people are so nice there!!!! I think Indiana is a VERY VERY VERY nice state. I later moved to Boston and ended up missing Indiana soooo much because people in Boston are all stuck-up, mean, and cranky all the time. And they complain a lot. Indiana is really kind and caring and the people there are the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life. GOOO COLTS!!!!!

The Great Lakes states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan) is a region well used to big immigrant influx, so you will do fine.

I totally agree. I find Indianapolis a pretty city, and it has the nicest people. That's why I like to go there! Plus, the best team ever are the Indianapolis Colts. Another reason for me to like the place!!

I agree!!! I've been to Columbus 5 times and I swear I've never met more friendlier people in my life......hated to come back home. Hell, even the drunks were friendly! *Must be something in the water*

The people are friendly because they are happy. Let's face it, Indiana isn't that beautiful and there really isn't anything here, so if you live here, you are probably doing it because you really like it.
