I hear that dogs love to lick human feet, and I hear that it feels really good when you get your feet licked by a dog. Since the dog and I both enjoy it, how can I train a dog to lick my feet? I plan to get a husky puppy soon, so how do I train the husky to lick my feet? Also, how can I train a cat to lick my feet?

I enjoy my dog licking my feet. It relaxes me so much I almost fall asleep. Kind of like a massage. Don t use peanut butter or other sticky substances. The licking is not gentle since the dog is only interested in licking the food off. Instead, offer treats as a reward for licking. This seems to work. Next time your dog licks your feet, praise him/her and offer a treat. Let her know she s doing something good. Also, even though I have trained my girl dog to respond to this, she is aware that only I am available for foot licking. She s mine! ;)

Dog training are excellent and very helpful to build you a stronger relationship with your dog. Read more https://tinyurl.im/I2DN8

After I started training my dog, he became very attached to me and loves to stay by side as long as he can. But just going to them won't help. You have to practice what they teach you outside of the class and you need to keep up with it at least every now and then after the class ends otherwise they'll just go back to previous habits. This course is a really good place to go for dog obedience classes. It get's your dog around other people and dogs to socialize while getting the training you need. As for electric collars, I would say to not get one. In my experience, they're only a negative effect on your dog. I mean of course you're going to need to correct your dog, but being positive and encouraging your dog works a lot faster and easier.

Every dog is different, so unless you have a german shepherd or a really smart dog, it might take a while to train her. You might get frustrated with her, but go easy. She's still a puppy and has a lot of energy. A backyard or somewhere to run will help her get rid of a lot of energy that might cause her to misbehave from boredom.

I also thought so... then I ended up with one cat and 2 dogs with a foot fetish!!

It is ok for us as owners to allow certain things, but you have to remember, what the pet thinks is ok to do with you.. it must be ok to do with everyone else..this could lead to uncomfortable guests, or even an involuntary kick to the head of your pup from someone that may be nervous of dogs..

After a while it is not so cute, and besides, it is teaching your pet to put it's mouth on you, which could lead to a bite.

There are tons of other things to teach your pet to love you with, or maybe just find a partner who also likes to have their feet licked and go for it! Just leave the furry ones out of it!

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/trainadog

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

well usually a dog will just do it, maybe when there not a puppy but when they grow up they will, you just gotta wait till there in a calm mood and put your feet beside there mouth and they'll start licking them Lol.
And for a cat just buy something they like and rub it on your feet and put it buy the cat.
the cats tongue is more rougher so it may not feel as good.

I'm doing basic obedience right now. My trainer hasn't once handled my dog. He has shown me how to handle my dog by using his own dog but that's about it. The reasoning is that I need to learn how to do these basic corrections and what not myself. Learn more https://tinyurl.im/I2DN8

I have never considered sending my dog away for training. I guess I haven't found that much of a problem with him to even think about it.

Again, it may also have to do with the level of training you are looking for etc. No idea lol. I'm not a trainer. I think a first time dog owner needs to learn simple commands and how to handle their dog themselves as well.
