Moses married Zipporah, daughter of Jethro, a Midianite priest. They had two sons, Gershom and Eliezer (Exodus 2:11-22; 18:3-4).

Moses' wife was Zipporah, daughter of Jethro, a Midianite. He meet and married her during the time he was in exile from Egypt. As a Midianite, she would have been very dark skinned, perhaps even "black". She was non-Jewish and objected to Moses circumcising his sons as Jews. Moses' sister Miriam complained about her being non-Jewish and dark skinned. God gave her leprosy for a time until she repented of her complaining.

If by race you mean nationality or ethnicity...I read she was a Midianite...and her dad's name was Jethro...but if you read more, you will notice Moses had another father in law also...so maybe he had more than one wife. It was common for wealthy and powerful men to have more than one wife back then. I don't recall where I read it, so you will need to review your first five books of the Bible to find it.

Her name was Zipporah ( possibly meaning small bird) and she had a Cushite background. Although Cushite usually refers to Ethiopians, it can also embrace those from Arabia.
