I have looked everywhere but i cannot find a driver download. please help

If your HP is old enough to have ever had a 98 driver, you may already have it and don't know it. Run the gamut to set up a new hardware item, go to manual select for printers, select HP from the menu and see if that model is listed. If it is, you have the driver in a cab file. You may have to get it from the 98 disk though, but if you don't have one there are many around and most any computer geek can get you a copy. Can't help much on the Canon except to send you back to them. You may have down-loaded the wrong driver or your down-load may be contaminated. Try to re do it from them. Contact their service support if all else fails.

Check the Brother web site. They will have the drivers as a free download. People lose the CDs all the time.

I have the same machine and scrapped it. Go to the brother site and download the drivers its all there.
