me and this girl have been becoming real close friends lately. We both come from two tottally different groups, my friends are more of the "goody goody" types and she's like the badass type, my friends respect that her and i are friends, but they dont really like her....She invited me to a party next weekend and im kinda worried, i dont kno what to expect or how to act b/c i've never been to a house party before. To make things more "exciting" shes setting me up with one of her friends, who i've never met. Im really scared/nervous but im glad to be experiencing this. Does anyone have any advide on how i should act at the party, or what to expect at the party. and any advice on how to handle the boy situation?(what do we talk about if we've never met???)
Please Help!!!

When i was in high school i had punk rock friends (by he way I'm mixed with black white and Cherokee)so most of my friends were black .I hung out with my punk rocks friends .Put ti this way if i liked your personality i hung with you no matter what people thought. And if my friends didn't like that then they weren't the friends that i needed to be around.I was the most popular girl in school and everyone knew me and liked me because i took the extra mile to get to know anyone. At the party don't present yourself as an outcast you are what you feel .So go there wanting to have a good time and you will have a good time.If you meet someone you like conversation will come naturally. That's all good luck and have fun

ok, a house party will probably have a lot of beer and pot( or some kind of drug) It will be loud, lots of people. If you go i suggest being yourself, if you are going to drink, drink very light no matter how pressured you feel because you dont know these people.Dont be trusting, you may pass out and wake up in a bad situation. You could talk to this guy about schools, sports, music, movies recently seen. If you are the shy type, ask him a lot of questions, so he is continuosly the one talking.

Just have fun and be yourself. House parties are usually pretty big with a lot of people. When talking to this boy, just talk about school, friends, family .. whatever! You don't know him so just ask about anything. Parties aren't supposed to be high stress situations, so relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself!

Be yourself and not what some one else wants you to be because sooner or later you will be found out. As for the boy there is a lot to talk about school, friends, interests, family, etc.

Always Always be yourself.... If you try to act like someone you are not you will disappoint yourself and every one around you. Trust your gut instincts, if you are uncomfortable, leave. If you are comfortable do what feels comfortable to you. With talking to the boy ask him what he is interested in, tell him what interests you have. You may find common ground. If not it wasn't met to be and that is okay too.

I know that everyone says this, but just act yourself. Dont try to act to funny or anything. Just talk to her, see if you too are in anyway compatible with each other.

Just relax and be yourself at the party.
If your anything but yourself, you'll regret it.
Also, if there is drinking etc. be sure to watch yourself. Mainly though, just remember its a party. Have fun. =)

I think experiencing something new is important.Go and act casual ..meet the guy. if you like him cool .. if not just say NO and that's it.you don't HAVE to do anything.Just be you and don't be pressured to do anything you don't want to.
