if yall like each other then yall should go out but promise to one another if yall do happen to brake up then yall will still be friends and not make anything weird between yall.

I have seen lots of these situations in movies and real life. I know what you mean. You have a best guy friend and you suddenly fall in love with him. The only thing you could do is,firstly just act like you are his friend( not acting like you love him) but later tell him the truth and confess everything to him. you and your friend will end up going out as girlfriend and boyfriend or maybe in the future you guys could get married.he will understand. you guys will surely work it out. when he knows about it, he will surely have a thing for you. you can ask him to a school formal or dance when it comes up, before he asks another girl. he will get it. just give it a go :)

I say that if you like him you guys can go out if you want but remember that after dating, if you were to break up it might affect your friendship so try it but let him know that you still want to be friends if it doesn't work out!
