I would say he was an ideal guru, not sure about an incarnation of Krishna. I'll give in that Lord Chaitanya could be an incarnation, but not necessarily Srila Prabhupada. I'm still learning about ISKCON and such, so my opinions are still forming.

Srila Prabhupada is a pure devotee of Lord Krishna. He is an empowered incarnation of Lord Krishna sent to Earth with a mission. He is the spiritual master or guru of those who seriously want to approach the Supreme Lord Krishna and have a sincere desire to become self-realized.
