i wana do something totally unique and different for my boyfriend this valentines day...the usual, buying shirts,perfume & stuffs r soooooooo common..i came up wit this idea..i'd reward my boyfriend this year by givin him a trophy with a message engraved on it tellin him he's my #1 boyfriend..thing is, i'm not sure,whether or not he'l like it coz when i mentioned it to my mom & sis..they both laughed @ the idea...can u guys pliz help me!!

A couple of years ago, for my boyfriend, I gave him a box filled with kisses.
I cut up a bunch of paper and kissed each one. On the back of each kiss was a reason why I loved him. I did 365 (leap year) of these.
I painted the box and with glitter, titled it 365 days of love.
He loved it.
He bought me a bear.

I think thats a lame Idea....calling him #1 means there is a #2.
To get something appropriate for you two would require an age range, ill assume you are younger.
You could surprise him with a framed pic of you two.
You could make him a scrap book of the two of you if you have pics, movie stubs, ect.
You could cook him dinner, or do a picnic
You could take him to play golf,bowling, arcade and pay for it.
Think of things he likes to do and emphasize on that.

I do not, by any means, mean to sound rude but that seems like it's a bit over-the-top. Maybe your gift doesn't have to be something you buy? You could take him out for a romantic night on the town?
