Aren't we all after the same thing? We all crave wholeness and we get that through spirituality, but why do we reject each others religious preferences? Who are we to think that ours is THE right one? If so what does that make of other religions? Does that mean every one else is going to hell? Is there a hell? Or is it what we were taught it is? What makes us so perfect and others not? That's a lot of questions, can you answer them all truthfully?

No one knows the answers to any of those questions. All we can do is keep learning, thinking, and growing.

It's a power and control thing. If you crave influence and celebrity (and let's face it who doesn't!) then simply asserting your views is seldom sufficient. If you can invoke a 'higher authority' you can exploit people's superstitions, insecurities etc in a way to do your bidding. You effectively now have a mandate from 'on high' which is conveniently potent as it is indisputable. Now when someone in the next patch opens a franchise for their 'way, truth, life etc', what you gonna do? Watch all that hard-earned influence go down the drain? No sirreeee! You will fight tooth and nail with all the means at your disposal to trash their belief system to save your own in which you have invested all that time and energy.
..and that's the truth 'cos my god told me!

God makes the way.

Hell was not created for man, but when those who don't follow His word are forever separated from Him at judgement with the knowledge of His grace...that is what hell is.

I wish it for no one.

I CAN answer them truthfully.
Since there is no God, each religion is battling over nothing.
