Is Rampage Jackson overrated?

No. He may not be well versed in subs or a muay thai master, but he's naturally strong with a good chin. Look at his defeats, only to excellent fighters like Silva, Rua, Arona, Sakuraba. Plus he's beaten Liddell, Lindland, Arona, those guys are tough. He took some bad defeats which may have ruined his career, but Pride kind of screwed him. I thought he was winning that fight against Silva, he was on top punching, the ref decided not enough action and stood them up Silva landed a good shot and knee'd him 50 times and over, if the ref did'nt stand them up Rampage could have won, but Silva was the champ, if it was Liddell they would not of let them up. I put him in the top 10 of light heavyweights in the world, not top 5 and thats pretty good.

No. His personality is great. He's funny as can be. That makes him good in interviews, but his power and skills are the reason why people want to interview him. For anybody that is questioning Rampage, check out Pride Critical Countdown 2004. He's fighting Ricardo Arona and is loosing. What until you see the bodyslam that won him the match. Ricardo is my fav fighter, but I have to give it to Rampage on that one. It's probably the best bodyslam I have ever seen in MMA. If you look at his record, he has lost some fights, but look at who he lost to and how. (You have to watch the fights to have the full effect, not just check on whether it was a TKO or decision.)

silva is not dominated over jakson during his fight.He won both the times because of his lucky knee kick's.Other than this jakson is stronger and faster hands than silva.It woudnt be much difficult for him to melt the ice.
