I'm 22, he's 25. I'm studying, he's working. I still like him but I'm not too sure how he feels anymore. (he's giving up/ has given up because we cannot think of a way to make it work)

We've only spent 5 months (physically together) and now I haven't seen him for 8 months. And we have no plans of leaving our countries for the next few years.

Is there anyway I can make the relationship work?

Since technology is so advanced now, you might want to make use of web cams. Otherwise, it is highly possible the relationship won't work out.
