ADHD?
One a five year old on drugs might think Cocaine, Grass, LSD are great things after 16.
Attention Deficit is fine people can only listen to one speaker at a time. Adults cant hear outside the room or with headphones, even watch a 3 hour movie.
Ask them are you listening to 'me'? Are you tired? Are you hungry? Do you need to potty?
HD? Hyper Dysfunction? dont work up the child to play with the child then the child thinks, Dads there therefore its playtime.

Kids really learn through doing, not through DVDs. Talk to his teaching about watching his interactions with other kids closely and talking him through what to say or do next. Read almost any book for kids and you can come across characters and situations and ask him what he thinks that child in the book should do. You could use puppets at home to and act out some situations - I bet he would love that! Have the doll or puppet practice sitting still, responding to someone taking a toy from him, etc. You will have some fun, quality time with your son and get to watch him learn about the social world around him!
Good luck and have fun!

There may be one, but I doubt that would really be effective. A five-year-old isn't going to take life lessons from a video (especially if he can't even sit still and watch it in the first place). A DVD is no substitute for real life teaching.

Vegitales - They are a great teaching tool and have several topics to choose from. I even like them. They sing and teach in a fun way, and they are about a half an hour long, so your child's attention span should still be good with that length of time.
Best of Luck! I hope you both enjoy them. We have worn our copies out!
