I really like the ones with really tight curls. Kind of like an afro but instead the curls are like short spirals. Does anyone know of any style books/pics that I can take to my stylist?

why dont you find a stylist that can do a straw set first to see if you like it. Its not permanent and if you dont like it you can wash it out!!!!

Go to your local grocery store or drug store to the magazine sections and find you a magazine (for less that $5) and pick a picture out of them.

you can take sophisticates black hair magazine if u are a african american woman or you can take hype hair magazine with you
