why do many tobacco company executives not smoke?

Because they know the risk and they take heed to them. They depend on the rest of the addicts to keep them in business. You can't run a company if all of your execs die of lung, throat, and mouth cancer.

Also many company executives including those of Phillip Morris, have created programs about not smoking and quiting smoking.

do you have a source for this? and maybe it's because the majority of americans don't smoke, maybe you should provide a reason it should be any different for tobacco company executives...

Why should they spend their money killing themselves with their own product when they have the world addicted to it?
They can let someone else and spend their money for that nasty habit which will kill them and the ones they love threw 2nd hand smoke and live like kings.
I quit almost 29 years ago!

Because they've seen all the results of the medical studies that have been done, and they know what's REALLY going into the cigarettes - and what kind of damage it does.
