Twenty years ago i ran my fastest one mile time, which was
4 mins 25 secs at Watford's Woodside Stadium.
I last competed over one mile in 2005 at the age of 44 and ran
4 mins 54 secs.
So,right now i reckon i can still just about dip under 5 minutes.

the fastest ive run a mile was at an indoor track this year. i did a 4:39. im 16, and a sophmore in highschool, male of course. my time would have been faster, but my start kinda sucked, and i got boxed in. when outdoor rolls around i hope to be a sub 4:30.

Right now at the age of 53, I run it around 8 minutes or slightly faster. but the avg. is 8 minutes. .When I was younger(30 yrs.ago) I would avg. around 6 minutes. This was when I was running long distance. .I've never really out and out ran a mile..

Anywhere between 6-7 minutes. I haven't tried it in a while so I can't give an exact figure. I prefer slow, long distance running over short runs though.

I ran it in 5:52 before. I didn't even sweat that much. I'm a 14 year old basketball player, so it's to be expected. Running just comes down to heart and determination.

im 13 and in gym i got 7:24. that was at the beginning of the year though. my friend just broke our school record and got like 6 minutes and something. a lot of people get more like around 8-10 minutes. and then theres the people who just walk the whole time so they dont really count but they get like 14 minutes.

I did 4:51 two years ago. Last year I sucked. I'm hoping to be closer to 4:40 this year. I'm a freshman in college, just for reference. My freshman year of highschool my best was 5:41.
