Ok, so i met this guy and seems really cool. He walks with me and hugs me all the time. If he sees me sitting somewhere he'll sit with me. That is until some prep comes along. Like he thinks i dont know, but he stays after school to watch cheerleading practice. What does this mean? He just wants to be friends or is he like using me for hugs- why would someone even do that? alright thanx

Maybe he wants to be a cheerleader? he could be a "playa" depends if he puts on a front when his friends are around, watch his eyes when another girl walks by and them ask him any question to see if he is listening. If you have any bad ViBeS about him, I wouldn't let it go past being friends............

If he's staying after school to watch cheerleading practice then chances are that he is not fully interested in you.
Ask him "why" he's watching cheerleading practice. If he can't communicate with you honestly then it won't work.
Bottom line, you need to let him know how you feel and what you're thinking about. How he responds to that and to your needs will answer your question of whether or not he's a playa or if he genuinely cares about you.

yeah thats a great way to approach a guy except one conversation then a date? you got to think about it...i think it would creep any guy out unless ur super super hot. my suggestion: go to the gym twice a week(you decide, but not too many times or you might look stalkerish) and act like ur doing something and if you see the same guy again drop in and say hi and ask about his work out etc. he'll probably feel flattered that this girl (you) is flirting with him in front of all his guy friends

Using you for hugs? Haha, if he's using you for hugs, he likes you. It really sounds like he does either way. He may just be too nervous to formally ask you out.

Well it just means he wants to be friends. But if he goes to your house,hangs out, go with you to places then it means he want to be more then friend . But in this case he just being a good friend to you thats all.
