Bush the benefit. Even though they dont really agree with the cause. I dont think for a sec that he forgot his own people, after all he has a wife, daughters and possibly grandchildren to think about too. He isnt gonna make this country ruins for them or us.

Wow! A sane voice - it has been awhile. The Bush family is an old & respected family who plans to be here for many more generations. I believe there is a plan to the madness & we will understand it at the same time the WWII survivors did - years afterwards.

Hey, I'm all for America, and I'm no expert on war. But when generals and former top aides start coming out in opposition to the war, you have to take a second to hear what they're saying. I've taken some time to study Iraq and its people and culture, and I'm just afraid that they're not ready for a civil society, and they may never be. They're too consumed by ethnicism and religious zeal. And I'm certainly not convinced that the cause has anything to do with the Iraqi people or terrorism (it's more of a terrorist fairhaven now that Saddam's gone!)... the cause is to secure an economic foothold on the region's resources, for the sake of making sure our economy can run on cheap fuel for a few more decades. They know that, once we lose the benefit of cheap oil, our quality of life here will go down a lot, and we'll have to live a lot more like the rest of the world (God forbid!). I can understand the motivation... they're looking at the nation as a business, and they need to keep an advantage over its competitors in order to stay on top. We're not happy being the accountant, we want to be CEO of the world and drive the big truck and have the corner office. If that's our goal, then yeah, the war is for a just cause. I'd rather live in a peaceful country that refuses to squander its virtues for mere economic benefit... that's a slippery slope that all of history's evil empires embarked upon. We have to face the energy crisis sometime, and I'd rather face it now than be part of a nation that conquers other nations for the sake of power and riches. That's barbarism. I want my good-guy country back. And get me Santa Claus and God, while you're at it.

I always give him the benefit of doubt-He is great! I will miss him dearly. Look-economic life is at the best it's ever been, and jobless people actually have jobs now-thanks to him. And, he lowered taxes-what else do these mother fcukers want from him? they jsut talk out of their as s. losers.

There's a difference between actually trying to make life worse for humanity and doing it through sheer incompetent blundering.

Bush's pathetic attempt to run this country is probably akin to your failed attempt at rational thought. We know you mean well, though.

how very naive your question is. His family is quite well taken care of. Doubtful they will have their thermostats set on 65 this winter, doubtful they will have to wonder what to buy today, food or heart medication, doubtful they will attend the funeral of a close relative killed in Iraq any time soon, doubtful they will buy the generic brands at the grocery or will use the words what would go good with this pound of hamburger meat for dinner tonight. Agenda is what he cares about, the american people can suffer. Take some political science classes and see for yourself what his agenda really is.

To be honest, I am getting a little mad with people who are so upset about the war in Iraq. Let's say that we stayed in America, as Sadaam continues to rule in Iraq. Meanwhile, we are sitting here, thinking that there are weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. With time, all of a sudden here comes Iran, an ally of Iraq, with an active Nuclear Weapons program of their own. Finally, here is little North Korea with their nukes. Does anyone realize something about these three countries?

They all hate America.

Yes I support our president every day. As hard as they have tried they have not been able to bring him down even with their co-partner the drive-by media.

P.S. How about Rush Limbaugh being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. I bet that is driving liberals crazier than they already are. I bet they are frothing at the mouth.
