Cut some velveeta in cubes and put them in a crock pot with some salsa. Let it heat up until the cheese is melted and make sure you mix it up occasionally....yum! It's addicting!
Another really good dip/spread for crackers is some cream cheese with jalepeno jelly. It's not hot-it's sweet and so good!

Hormel Chili Cheese Dip (the *real* best dip ever)! :)
1 pkg Philly cream cheese
1 can Hormel Chili
I bag shredded cheddar cheese
Empty the cream cheese into a bowl, and micro it about 2 minutes. (makes it easier to manipulate).
Spread the cream cheese in a shallow corning ware bowl, about 9X9 is perfect.
Next, spread the Hormel chili over the cream cheese.
Then, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the chili.
Microwave for 4 - 5 minutes, covered, or till cheddar cheese it melted.
Or cook in oven 20 - 30 minutes....@350 degrees. (uncovered)
Whichever fits your needs.
Serve with tortilla chips...but other chips would taste good too.
It is so good...you won't care who wins, lol.
Have a great party!

Go to Sam's Club and buy a can of Nacho Cheese Sauce and dump it into a crock pot. Brown 2 pounds of hamburger and 1 pound of ground pork. Drain the meats well and put it into the cheese sauce. Add a jar of your favorite salsa and stir.
This makes a great Nacho Dip.

1 lb. velveeta
1/2 can evaporated milk
1/2 pkg Good Seasons (DRY) salad dressing mix--Italian
1 lb. bulk sausage
1/2 can pimentos
Fry and crumble sausage. Drain fat. Melt cheese in dbl boiler or crock. Add rest of ing. Stir and enjoy. Keep warm in crock. Can serve with crackers or rye bread.(I buy the little square sliced breads at the deli counter of most any grocery store. They are about 2 inches x 2 inches.) Also can use chips or tortillas. Whatever you like. This is great.

Have to agree... velveeta and hormel w/out beans or velveeta and salsa. Another good one is cooked ground breakfast sausage, velveeta & salsa. Put it in a crock pot and you are good to go!
