He wants out and away from this.. We all agree from my family to his is that the child would be better also with out him.... So the only problem we hav is the health insurance for her if we ask him to sign over his parental rights

I want him to sign parental rights over to me.. He has been a pain and every one on both sides would like him to step back and leave us alone... I dont need his money I just want to figure out how to do this for us.... rrcbrown@yahoo

yes, you can find health coverage and/or medical assistance for your daughter and yourself through either private health care programs or state and federal assistance programs... you could also have the courts enforce healthcare provisions in the parental rights agreement that would require the father to pay all or a portion of your daughters future medical needs, particularly if he wants out ... most courts would hold him liable for specific financial responsibilities with regards to his daughter even when the relationship is deemed irretrievably broken.

If he signs over his parental rights, he's signing off on everything. You'll be responsible for her care. Yes, you can find health insurance for just you and your daughter. If you are concerned about whether or not you can afford that, call the local child welfare department and they will steer you in the right direction to attain affordable insurance.

you can get help from the state with health, food and child care. just contact someone at social services and ask them what programs they can offer you.

**** him u have more important things to worry about now same thing happened to me my son is now 18 years old u might not think this now but him leaving will be the best thing that happened to u go to your local social services office and get medicaid for u and the baby
