I've downloaded it already and now it just has to connect but it's taking forever...I think it's been about an hour...is it not working?

trying updating your version to the most recent and also take a look at your firewall/antivirus settings to make sure that limewire is enabled. Although risky sometimes you may have to disable your antivirus so long as you trust the file you're downloading i.e. a friend or relative that you can trust on limewire.

verify that ur firewall isn`t blocking the relationship commence > administration panel > firewall and ensure limewire is checked if its allowing connection,contained in the proper left nook of limewire is a tab named report,hit that then hit connect desire this helps

as is with any web site, if too many people are using it at one time, the site will take slonger to load.
