I'm not sure, other than doing their taxes. I will tell you that it depends on the organization (Pride usually pays higher than UFC.) The fighter and what type of fight it is (title, weight division, PPV, etc). It also depends on what fines they fighters have to pay. Pride give yellow cards which means that the fighter looses some of the purse they were supposed to get. Travis Lutter (UFC, fighting tonight) will be loosing 10% of his purse for not making weight in a title shot. (Silva will get 5% and the Nevada State Athletic Commisson will get the other 5%.)
