ok i told my friend i liked him. lets call him nick. i gave nick my phone # and he called and told me he liked me. so we both like each other and we r supposed to thioink about if we both want to try dating and i cant make up my mind. i want to date him cause if i ont then i will always wonder what would have hapend, but then i dont want to ruin our friendship. If you date him, you can never be regular friends again. I was friends with girl, fooled around with her for about two weeks and now are friendship is completely awkward. You either get to keep the friendship or you establish a love connection. Keeping the friendship means you miss out on a lot of hot action. Participating in hot action means you can never look at the person in the same way. Make your choice. Once you make it, there is no turning back.

if you really think things can work between you two, then take a chance. its always better to have tried than to have never tried at all. i mean you'd always be thinking about what could've been. that is worse than losing a good friend. i mean friends come and go, especially guy friends. i mean maybe if you would talk to him and be like "look, nick, you know i like you, and i do really want to go out with you, but i don't want a relationship to ruin our already great friendship." and just see how he responds. if he feels the same way than your friendship should always be there if it means that much to both of you.

if you are afraid of ruining the friendship then the friend ship isn't that strong in the first place...if you like each other like b/f and g/f then go for it..I would suggest try a kiss first if sparks fly,....the whole butterfly in the stomach happens then you to are attracted to each other if there is nothing there then remain friends=) hope this helps=)

Boys & girls make lousy friends because the sexual tension always gets in the way. So don't worry about the friendship thing because it ain't happening. Go for the gusto.

It's a risk you should take. In a sense, you're now more than friends. I mean, your friendship is kinda over, it's turned into something stronger. My advice would be to date him. You only have one life, live it!

I would go out with to see where it might lead. If it ends up you both prefer to stay friends, then do so. If not, then it will lead toward a relationship. Either way, time will tell.
