you can let him know though as Ive been in the same situation I will not tell you to expect anything. I wish I could go back and change telling him cos now after being friends for 4 yeras we havent spoken since.
Its really up to you though what would you do if you were in his situation

You should wait it out and see what happens to the couple, but you also have to keep your playing field open. If you think someone else might be interested in you that you would consider, then go for it.

Ask him how serious him and his girlfriend is... If he says it's not that serious and you think he might be interested, let him know that you have a crush on him. Then go from there, if there is something, it should be a smooth ride from there. Good luck

Until there's a ring on his/her finger, he's fair game. Some people are always in relationships and they just switch around. Tell him how you feel, you'll be glad you did.
You also have to ask yourself, why am I going for guys who are unavailable?

Well it depends, are they serious? If yes, you should just let them be, if not then you should tell him so he knows your feelings. Don't be scared to...trust me you will regret life later knowing that you were to scared to tell someone that you love them.

I'd move on unless he feels the same way and is ready to end that relationship......longer you wait to move on the harder it will be later.
