hi i feel sorry i found your question late but i hope you'll still get to read my answer. im a nurse. don't put on a band aid. and do not swallow the blood, keep on washing it off with running water. you need to get a tetanus toxoid immunization because can lid injuries are not safe. and go to the ER now and get the tetanus toxoid injection.

Let me know if that works for you. If this cut is bad you should call or go to the emergency room. Your tongue heals very fast, although you could end up with a nasty sore for a few days.

a bandaid won't stick to your toung and what the .... were you thinking licking a can lid. Defintly rinse with antiseptic like lysterene oh it will hurt and you should go to a doctor if the cut is deep to make you think you need a bandaid

Rinse with saltwater or hydrogen peroxide. Apply glyoxide if it continues to be kind of sore. The tongue heals very fast, so it shouldn't be that big a deal.

Nope, just rinse your mouth out with warm salty water. You may have to hold pressure on your tongue to stop the bleeding, and if it doesn't stop, go to the doctor. You may need stitches.
Most of the time, it will stop and just for the next couple days, rinse your mouth out with the warm salty water and brush regularly.

no..it putting band aids on ur tongue ...??? u just cant put band aids on ur tongue but u can gargle it with water it may help

some solutions to this question are bull s h i t. ozzy? hes no longer satanist, that answerer is probable christian or something. Deicide is satanist metallic mandatory remains is satanist metallic maximum, if no longer all, of those bands songs are approximately devil or anti-christian perspectives. those are a number of my prominent bands too. wish this helps.

no that would be horrible - just let time heal it - unless its really big which isn't likely from a tin can!!!!!! if it is then go to a doctor
