I have been dating a guy for 4 months in a long distance relationship and he and I are hitting it off and talk on the phone every day sometimes more than once or twice a day. Everything seems great like we are getting closer and closer. When we spend time together we have a blast and great sex. The problem is that before he met me he had been seeing someone casually and has not broken it off. It is too soon to demand exclusivity although we are sexually active but I really like him and want him to stop seeing other people. My question is whether it is a sign that a man is interested in a serious relationship when he calls every day and talks about everything in his life and asks all about your life. I am hoping that he is working towards the same things I am and hope I am reading the signs correctly. What indicates that a man is serious about you and wants you as his girl friend for now and maybe more later.

I don't understand why you even got involved with someone who was causally seeing someone else. You are being played for a succor. Tell him good bye and move on with your life. Women should know better than allow themselves to be used.

If you are sexually active it is not too soon to expect or demand exclusivity. If he is having sex with other women, he is putting you and any other women at risk of getting stds and/or pregnant (birth control is not always effective). Different guys behave differently. The only way to know is to talk to him about it.

If he were serious he wouldn't still have another girlfriend. Sounds like he's got it made. Before you make any demands, remember nobody likes ultimatums and be prepared to suffer the consequences. It could end your relationship.

I can never tell.Generally long distance relationships are more difficult. He should have called it off with the other girl as soon as he had an interest in you.good luck and you are welcome to e-mail me if you want me to try to give more advice.
