My then boyfriend asked me to marry him after knowing him for only 5 days. After a week, I told him it was too soon and we needed to take it slow. Two and a half years later we got married.

Always and in every relationship I have had (I am 40 years old).......someone has always felt that "we should slow this down." That's the next biggest cliche to "I think we should just be friends..."

All of my relationships go too fast.. so i get out of it..

YES..I was dating this guy and within the first few days he said "I love you". I'm sorry, but within the first few days you dont mean it like you should. I didnt know what to say to him really..I kinda froze then I told him "Uh...Thanks.." I felt like an idiot but hey, its better than saying "I love you too" and misleading someone.
