Because you are straining, which is not good for your heart. Drink lots of water and before you go to sleep eat 2 prunes. Or some oatmeal cookies.

Not why, but stop it. You must get a lot of fiber during the day.

Yes ground flax seed in sandwiches, a teaspoon or so. Add a bit to salads. Put in cake and pancake mixes. Rat celery and lot of vegetables during the day. rat lettuce, tomatoes, Spinache, Kale, broccoli, etc, and fresh fruits other times.

Then you will poop normally.

Otherwise, yu are going to burst a blood vessel in your head and kill yourself

well the only thing i can think of is don't poop... or maybe your trying to pooh out the wrong side.

Srink more and take Milk of mag every day. That should solve your problem.
