freezer To freshen toast the slices of bread and put buns under broiler for a few minutes until they are crisp. Works well for bread that has become slightly stale. If bread is in a loaf, slice it before freezing so you can remove only the number of slices you need.

In the freezer is best long term storage. But be sure that when you defrost it make sure you dont leave water crystals in the bag or it will make the bread soggy just like it does when bread gets to warm and it has condensation in it. Have you tried air seal vac?

counter or freezer. The fridge will cause it to go stale faster. Learned that in culinary school. then worked as a pastry chef in a bakery.

depending on where you live, moisture and humidity play a large part. hot dog buns are easily put in a ziplock storage bag... put them in the fridge. bread... if its sandwich bread already pre wrapped... like when you buy it... tie it back up and put it in the fridge...loaf bread, i wrap inplastic or ziplock, put in freezer... makes excellent garlic bread after defrosting...have fun!!!

Didn't you just ask this question?

I put mine in the freezer. When I'm ready for a sandwich, I make the sandwich and put it on the grill. I never thaw it.

fridge...freezer makes them lose the "freshness", and on the counter they get stale/moldy.
