Can God reject your tithe? Yes He can, God can do anything, but he won't ever reject your tithe. You could tithe in other ways besides money. Tithe is 10% of what you receive. It may be food, money, anything.

Mal 3:10 Let your tenths come into the store-house so that there may be food in my house, and put me to the test by doing so, says the Lord of armies, and see if I do not make the windows of heaven open and send down such a blessing on you that there is no room for it.

Back in Jesus day if people were too poor to offer the average sacrifice they were allowed to offer smaller animals that they could afford. I don't think God would reject a tithe if it came from a person with a right heart condition. I also think if you don't have the money to spare that God overlooks that. What does he need with money anyway. If his spirit is with the church he will help it find ways to make ends meet whether there are contributions or not. Don't you agree.

The tithe belongs to the LORD , its for your benefit if all you have to give is a button off your shirt then make the sacrifice and the Lord will bless you in a lot of ways and its not always with money that the Lord blesses us

We do not tithe today but give according as we have been prospered. God tells us how we are to give, and with what frame of mind we are to be in when we give. Yes, if your giving is not done according to scripture, God will not accept it.

you don't actually need to tithe unless you are living under the Old Covenant.

We are to give our entire lives as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1-2)

I think you'll find both answers in the story of Cain and Able, both made offerings as their tithe (one offered live stock, one offered farm produce) one was accepted, one wasn't.
