Boy Trouble!!!?

So theres this guy and i really like him. He's asked me to the last 2 big dances like winter ball and spring formal. Im 15 and havent ever had a boyfriend before. I asked him y he asked me to the dances and he said because i was fun to be around. What does that mean.?. I see him everyday and we talk about school stuff. I hardly talk to him outside of school but i really want him to ask me out because im too scared to do it myself...i've always been a little shy. First of all does he even like me? And if so... how do i get him to ask me out? I forgot to say that when we talk we flirt but not overly big and mostly without realising it. He told me he had a good time at the dance with me and his friends keep asking if we're going out. I need help....im so clueless.

You have to know a great big secret of boys. They just love girls that are fun to be around. It's especially true for shy boys. They will be friendly and it'll be easier for them to switch to romance. I'm pretty sure he's kind of shy. He doesn't know how to ask you out, maybe that's why you often talk about school and stuff.
I guess he's trying to switch, but he's doing it slowly. I might be wrong, but he seems to like you a lot. First, he invited you to 2 dances. That's a big clue.
The main problem is that you're both shy. If you want him to ask you out, you'll have to help him a little. Be flirty and drop small hints. If it works, the conversation will evolve in the romantic waters. He will ask you what you just meant, you will smile and he'll finally understand that you're feeling something for him.
Now, don't forget he's a boy. The clues you drop don't have to be subtle. The heavier the better sometimes.
The fact that you flirt without realizing it means you are very close. It's a good sign, trust me.
So the first thing you might do is call him on the phone, text him or chat with him online. You can also go out with him. A movie with one of your friends for instance (who will give you privacy at some point) is always a good idea.

I don't think you have boy trouble at all. You like him, he likes you. You've been to dances together. You haven't yet been "out" together (dances don't count?). You talk. So--continue talking, flirting. Be kind to him. Be honest and pleasant. Call him once in a while about something like a homework assignment or a mutual friend (nothing gossipy, though). Maybe he'll ask you out, or maybe you'll find yourself just naturally asking him out. Feeling less clueless now? Things sound fine.

I would say that he likes you... I would have maybe a friend of yours that you really trust ask him with out giving hints that you set her up to ask him if he likes you. and if he does then you can step up and ask him... Trust me I am mainly the say way... shy and really shy when it comes to asking guys out... I can go and party with them and be friends with them and think nothing of it... but when I get a crush on a guy and he acts interested in me then I go down... well sweetheart all i can say is been there done that.some guys are very clueless when it comes to a girl wanting to date them .Especially at that age,I wouldn't lie to you and answer the question of whether he likes you or not but i can tell you that he is interested .And i beat you he is asking his friends this same question because he scared.If you got the nerve to ask him the worse that he can say is no that's all.If you really like him go up to him and tell him.Trust me if you you will regret it and will always have that "what if" in the back of your mind .So go for it and good luck

the fact that he's already asked you to more than 1 dance shows that he is definately interested. it probably hasn't gotten any farther because, just like you, he's nervous! especially since you guys flirt, however minimal it is, and that he says you're fun to be around, i think now is just as good a time as any to let him know how you feel. you won't be sorry!
