i have post cards from a german service man from ww1 and would like to find family members to return cards

Send them to the German military command, or inquire with the American Legion. Those servicemen are probably all dead by now. If there any left, they probably would not remember much from WWI due to age and the amount of time that has passed since then.

That was back in 1915 I seriously doubt that there are too many still alive. There are several books out about the WW I and nostalgia. Hope you can find what you are looking for.

You can send a letter to the address and see if there are any family members still living there.

You can either hire a private investigator or you can find out where the post card was mailed from get a phone book for that city or town
and call anyone with the same last name and see if this guy is someone's granddaddy.
