I really doubt it. But being around others that smoke, is just like you would be; just by breathing it.

Studies have shown that you need to average at least 2 cigarettes per week to have an increased risk of cancer. Of course, once you start down the smoking path, it is very difficult to stop. Also, many chemicals are present in cigarettes that we don't even know about and haven't studied in any controlled trials. These could cause any number of problems including high blood pressure.

I know two women who didn't smoke. One woman's husband smoked and the woman ended up with emphysema. The other one wasn't even around smokers, and she had lung cancer.
So there's always a risk of cancer but I don't think you've increased your chances with a few pufffs. Even if you smoked for a short while, if you quit, you're improving your health day by day. But a few puffs put you at risk for addiction to cigarettes and quitting is HARD as hell. So don't start, to begin with, and you'll be all right.

You can get cancer even if you never pick up a cigarette. Many people die every day from lung cancer who have never smoked.

Probably not, but anything is possible. Even people who never smoked a day in their life can get lung cancer.

Would you take "only one" shot of heroin? The danger is not that 2 hits will give you cancer, it is that 2 hits will lead to another and another and another, and before you know it, you're hooked. Don't take my word for it, ask any smoker how they got hooked.

I doubt it, but 2 hits can lead to 4, 6 a pack a day etc. Please don't try it. If someone tells you they have smoked a long time and don't want to quit, they are LYING.

virtually impossible, you'd have to be a moderate/heavy smoker for multiple years to get cancer, you have a better chance of getting lung cancer from secondhand smoke
