No, if social security is your only income, it's not taxable and you don't have to file.

Find a form 1040EZ-T though and file that to get a $40 rebate for telephone excise tax.

No as long as your Social Security was $32,000 after you divided your figure in half for both you and your husband Social Security Income. If it goes over $32,000 for a couple than you have to file.

You don't have to file unless they sent you a 1099 form. If they did then you will have to file, but if they did'nt then you will not have to worry with it. Hope this helps.
