We are a family of six disgruntled with the drama where we live. Is there any sites that we can visit to get info on Jobs, housing, cost of living, schools, etc... We have searched newspaper classifieds, and craigslist.com but need something with more detail and some history and interpretating the lingo and money factor. Any information wouldbe helpful

I immigrated to Australia from Texas 10 years ago. It was the best decision I ever made. But, depending on where you live now, immigrating can be a long drawn out process. The Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs has a website. http://www.immi.gov.au/. You can get heaps of useful info there.

Seek.com.au is the best employment site.
Western Australia is booming at the moment with loads of mining jobs, but housing is quite expensive. $450 000 median.
It depends on the weather you like also. Colder in Tasmania, warmer in Queensland.
All the best.

I've laughed at why the fly on the wall is being so nosy. What the fly on the wal thinks of what I do,when the fly makes it's life by climbing on excrement and feeding on it is laughable in comparison.
