Every living thing has sensistive zones. The edges of a cats ear will twitch with just sensing how close you are to touching them.

A cats spine particularly towards the rear will rise when you stroke it. It may be hormonally inspired neutered or spayed.

Some cats if they trust you implicably will allow you to stroke them underneath whilst they stretch. Some will play with you as you do this, when it becomes to much or if they didn't like it you may get scratched and hissed at.

My normally unfriendly black cat will choose her moments when she will allow me to gently massage her face, neck, head, behind the ears and down the length of her nose. The whole experience of this results in her dropping off to sleep in my other cupped hand. If I stop she gets ratty.

The little tabby cat I have just lost also liked her head massaged and her chin rubbed. She was particularly fond of her paws being massaged and if you were gentle with her it was never a problem trimming her claws. I will miss her even though she was 17 and only adopted my home around the age of 14/15 years of age.

Well I don't know. Have you considered that cats have no blood relations to humans? Wow. They are cats. We are humans. Think about it. Good Luck :)

Cats' skin is not as sensitive as human skin, as they are built to withstand the elements. Humans are built to live in houses with AC and heat! :-)
