The best thing you can do is not talk, and maybe have some tea with honey.

The problem is, when your voice is like that, the temptation is to keep talking becuase it sounds so strange. It's fascinating to hear yourself sound that way. Resist the urge and you'll have your voice back in about 36 hours.

Hope you had an awesome time!

all you can really do is rest and don't talk for a few days.

make sure you take plenty of vitamins and drink plenty of fluids. take ibuprophen for pain and inflammation. tylenol does jack for inflammation.

if you need more pain releif you can stagger ibruprophen and tylenol. for example if the dosage of ibuprophen says every 6 hours and the tylenol says every 6 hours, you can take one ibuprophen at 12, a tylenol at 3, another ibuprophen at 6, another tylenol at 9, etc.

make sure you don't exceed the total recommended dosage for either and don't use this method for long.

mostly what is going to help you the most here is getting plenty of rest and not talking.

Voice rest, anti-inflammatories, and plenty of fluid. It should be back at full force in a few days.
