350z Coupe 3.5 liters V6 6-Speed, Curb weight 3404 lbs. 306 hp 268 ft-lbs torque. 0-60 5.4 sec, 13.95 sec 1/4 mile @ 102 mph, and skid pad 0.91g Base Price of Comparable 350z to the Redline MSRP $32,700 for the Coupe and $37,900 (Touring trim). Nissan continues its line of Z cars and continues to improve.
Which is better it's up to what you want to do with the car the Sky is on the level of the Miata and Honda S200, where the 350Z is more towards the Mustang, RX-8, and Mitsubishi Eclipse. I like both cars, but for me it would be the 350z due to it's more power potential and long running heritage.

The 350Z is a real sports coupe. The Saturn is a pretty pretender. In 20 years the 350 will be a collector car. The Saturn will be in a junkyard.
To the idiot above who prefers the Sky because it is rear-wheel drive... the Z-car is rear wheel drive and WAYY faster. Also to those who say the Sky has better handling, you might want to read the real test data.
Here's the real scoop:
Saturn Sky Advantages: Costs $6,625 Less
Theft-Tracking System Standard
OnStar System Standard
Better Highway Mileage (31 vs. 25)
Nissan 350Z Roadster Advantages: Larger Engine (3.5L vs. 2.0L) Engine (6 cylinder vs. 4 Cylinder)
6 Speed Manual Transmission
40 More Horsepower (300 vs. 260)
Better skidpad handling and lateral stability

And the 2007 Nissan 350Z have 305 horsepower with out turbos. The pontac and saturn are cute. I think all will be collectable if kept & low miles. Everyone buys a open sports car for three reasons mid life and divorce and to show-off. The 350Z coupe is a better driver.

Well the Sky is good if you wanted to just cruise round with the roof off. The 350Z would have more power (not by much), & its a good car for tune ups. I would go with the Sky because its a unique car & it would turn more heads than a standard 350Z

Apple & an orange.
Saturn Sky is comparable to a Miata, Z4/Z3 and Solstice while the 350Z rivals STI, CL-S and Mustang GT.
I'd take the Saturn, just barely over the 350.

My loyalty lies with Nissan. But the Sky is a pretty neat vehicle. If it were me, I would pick the 350Z, its a heck of a car.
I would suggest checking out

I work for a Dealer, I prefer the Sky because it's rear wheeled drive.
The Nissan has more room, but the sky is a Lot more fun to drive.
