Most vets will still do it...but ,many of them will charge a little bit more as the uterus will be swollen, and there will be more blood during the surgery. Talk to your vet to see if they suggest waiting or just doing it as scheduled.

Most vet will still spay an in heat female but will probably charge more. Things are swollen and there is more bleeding to deal with so it takes longer to do surgery

Most vets will not spay until the heat is over. However, there is a shot they can give them to end the heat early. Call your vet in the morning to check with them.

I brought in a cat for spaying and the vet told me afterward she was in heat (she was a feral stray). Usually the vet would charge more for that. It can be done, though.

Call your vet and ask. Usually spaying a cat in heat is more risky and more expensive.

If a private vet is doing the spaying you should be able to call the clinic in the morning to see if she should still go in. Even a clinic might want you to postpone is till the cycle has ceased.

Yes she still can get spayed even when she's in heat. If she were a dog it would be different.

Just as long as she doesn't get pregnant between now and then. Keep her inside, though I can guarentee you she will pee on things and make a lot of meowing noises. Feel free to put her in a quiet room with Animal Planet on with a litter box. She'll be fine, even though she sounds like she's dying.
