The thing I like about 7-Layer Dip is that you can really change it up- everyone can make their own Signature Seven Layer Dip.

I make it like this:

____________________________
Grocery List

-Taco seasoning (1 packet)
-Ground beef (at least a pound)
-Canned diced tomoatos (1 can should be fine)
-can of refried beans
-Sour Cream (medium container)
-Shredded Cheese (1 bag of Mexican Style is my favorite for this)
-can of black olives and some green ones, too!
-head of lettuce

Make/Prepare:

Cook the ground beef and put some taco seasoning mix into it after draining all the grease out of it. (Put as much seasoning that you want. Taste as you go to make sure you'll like it!)

Get a bowl and put a good, thick layer of refried beans on the bottom.

Add a good, thick layer of the ground beef

Put in a layer or lettuce.

Next, a layer of tomatos

Then a layer of the olives mixture (slice them up first)

Then, put the sour cream and top it off with the shredded cheese.

It's soooo good- you can even make it an 8-Layer Dip by putting Guacamole in it! Mmmmmmgoooood!!!
