Ground beef is the easiest meat to defrost using the microwave. You can take it out 1o minutes before you need it. Just use the defrost button, or 50% power on your microwave. Check it every minute or so, and break off the meat that has already defrosted. You never want to be responsible for getting other people sick.

yes, definately take it out and put it in the fridge until sunday so it;ll make it easier for yourself and make sure you leave it in the package until ready to use and then let it sit on the counter top until you cook it up with the nachos .

I would take it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge. (Make sure it's in a plastic bag or on a plate or something so it doesn't leak as it thaws). If it's still frozen in the middle then you can take it out and let it thaw on the counter for a while

Yes, you can take it out now. Just pop it in the fridge until Sunday. That's the safest way besides the microwave. In fact, by Sunday it still might even still be a tad frozen and need a quick zap in the microwave.

(Thanks for reminding me, I need to take out ground beef tonight and put it in the fridge.)
