nope. If some fanatical Christians were about to kill me, I would just say "I accept Jesus"..then I would be a "Christian". It wouldn't matter if I meant it or not, all I would need to do is claim to be one of them. (And then I could go back to making fun of them behind their backs after they left)

Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot used a lot of ways other than lynching. Really it is too slow. There are other ways you can achieve your goals, if lynching is scary to you.
