I am going to give you the same answer that I gave another asker

Ok let me explain it to you okay. I refrain from using that word. yet, it seems amazing to me that it offends certain people if it is not considered acceptable to use racial slurs. It is sad to hear that my own race would use the word that so many died so we would not have to be called that word again. Yet what is more upsetting is to know that there is people that would get so upset and scream how unfair that it is because it is not acceptable for them to go around using that word. Is it fair? I hear women calling each other the B word all day. Are you offended because you cannot walk around calling women B**ches all day? This world is never going to be fair. There always will be racism, social classes, poor people, and lonely people. Every person must decide what type of person that they want to be. If someone decided that it is thier right to use racial slurs and offensive language then they have decided what type of person that they choose to be. If a person decides to stay away from certain things and not to do certain things, then that will show everyone who they decide to be

The reason that African Americans can use the word and white people can't is because it is a way to take a word that one culture used over another degradingly and make it their own. To take the power that was denied for so long. Some African Americans still choose not to use the word and don't agree with it. However white people don't have the right to use the word because it does not refer to them. When a white person uses the word it's typically in a racist way. Although nowhere near the same degree a white person can call another person Cracker, but may take offense if someone of another race used it towards them.

First off, the majority of so-called "white supremacists" are actually White Nationalists (aka WNs). "Supremacist" is just a scareword used by the liberal media to panic the sheeple who listen to them. Nobody I know in the Movement uses that word and as far as I'm concerned it's just part of the giant cartoon that is the Lamestream Media reality. As for the word "White", why should we change our language? You obviously don't care about your racial kindred or your heritage so what's it to you? You want to be a nobody, a cultural nothing who comes from nowhere? Fine, you got it bro. BE that. Your self-definition is accepted. You can be the weak little whiteboi all the other races treat with contempt. Happy now? Have you found your natural level at last?

Well Big O, "Why DO black people call each other 'N', but we white people cannot use the word?" Let them use whatever words they need to bond with each other. Who says everyone has to use the same word? The question should be - why keep your vocabulary limited?

It's not *generally* acceptable from black people either... but often you can use slurs, or joke around, with others who're in the same boat so to speak, while coming from a stranger it's offensive... People who're both fat can more easily joke about eating habits... I'll say to my friend we're both crazy hippies 'cause we often do dress in 'hippie' clothes a lot. When one elderly person says something to another elderly about their age it's usually taken better than when a young person brings it up!

Also when you're close to someone you can sometimes use words or phrases that would be offensive coming from a stranger, so don't say something to someone just 'cause you heard their best friend say it and they laughed about it.

You know, I have black friends that get upset if anyone uses that word, black or white. Its not really a question of color, its a question of character because I don't think anyone should use that word

There really isn't a reason but one thing is true u as WHITE people is just as stupid to have made up the word the word remindes us of what our people went through in those times. I guess its a reminder of where we have come from and where we are not trying to go back to. Stupid Huh...... Well so was the question. Question: Why u ask that u want to use the word freely? Go ahead and see what happens. Wit love form ur *****. Why DOSE.....LOL man u cant even use correct english. U'r a joke and a half. Have a nice life...and I really mean that.

Double standard. Same reason why Jessie Jackson ruined Cramer's career. I do not see Jackson chasing after any successful black rappers for using the N word.

Because they think it cool to call each other that word but scream the race card if a white person says it.
