People "jump over everyone's case" because it is always best to check out a breeder, the living area and the pup itself before buying a dog. I have bought three pups from breeders. I got to meet the parents (except for one father, who came from another breeder), the living environment, was able to interact with the owner and play with the puppies. All were great experiences. The result was one dog who lived 13 years 9 months (and one whom I still miss terribly) and two fantastic puppies who people adore.

However, if you are are confident that you can buy this pup without more investigation, other ways to pay are bidpay.com or Western Union (allows online payments). Some banks, like Bank of America, also allow you to send online payments to anyone through your checking account. If none of these options are feasible, and you have to use PayPal, use a credit card. Your credit card itself can protect you.

I hope this helps and good luck with your puppy!

If you've been dealing with this breeder for years, then why do you NEED to make an online payment? Don't trust them with a check? Bad idea to buy online.

Ask your breeder what forms of payment that they will accept. There's other places online such as bidpay, moneybookers, Western Union, etc. The breeder should be able to tell you exactly what they will acept though. Good luck!

if you've been "dealing with this breeder for years" then they should work with you on this issue. You don't need us.

You just sealed your "death sentence" on here. Don't ever mention that you want to "buy a puppy online", people on here are melodramatic and will jump all over your case. Watch...!

Anyways, money order probably.
