Loser In Spanish

Perdedor, but that means loser as in win or lose. If you mean someone who's worthless, you would use other words. In Argentina they say "that guy is worth a zero to the left." Meaning nothing. Or fracasado meaning failure

Fracasado.

You could use "perdedor" that is a literal translation but is wide use in spanish too.

do you mean it like, "you are a loser!" and then you put your hand to make an L on your forehead? in spanish, i think it would be adequate to say..."naco!!!" it's like saying.."you are SO tacky" or "you are utterly without class" or "whitetrash" but in a slightly cooler way and with it's growing popularity...i personally think it works just like "loser" in that it's totally ok to say to a friend, and NOT ok to say to a person in a mean tone.

Uhhhh... its like perdidor or something. Like in Beck's song "Loser" he says "I'm a loser" in spanish over and over again so yeah....

Re: Vernacular English "loser."

I have seen it translated as "disastre" (cf. English disaster) in "Latina" magazine although their probably are some other colloquial and slang terms for it in Spanish.
